Corrections
Tell us where we're wrong
Have knowledge relating to a community, language, place or object documented here? If something is inaccurate, incomplete or framed badly — especially if it concerns your own community — telling us is a contribution, not a complaint.
The philosophy
A cultural archive that cannot admit error is just confidence with a design system. This project treats correction as part of its scholarship: claims are published with review statuses and confidence labels precisely so that they can be challenged at the level of the claim.
What happens with a correction
- It is reviewed against sources — including sources you point us to.
- Pages are amended, and material corrections noted in the page's history.
- Contributors are credited where they wish to be, and never named where they don't.
- Knowledge offered as not-for-publication is treated as exactly that.
Where the channel stands
Not yet open
A dedicated corrections channel — with named reviewers and a public log — opens alongside the first community-review programme for the Mapuche collection. It is being built as a scholarly and community process, not a customer-support form; standing it up properly takes longer than a mailto link, and it matters more.
Until it opens, this page is the honest placeholder it describes: the commitment is made here first, so the project can be held to it.
